Vaporizers are small electronic gadgets that deliver nicotine (or other chosen vapours) to simulate smoking. Vaporizers can be used in most places in the UK where smoking is banned, making them an attractive alternative to cigarettes for many smokers.

Vaporizers work in the same way as electronic cigarettes, but offer several advantages. Because e-cigarettes use cartridges (cartomisers) to hold the nicotine, you have less choice of taste and flavour than with a vaporizer, which will take any nicotine or other vaporizer e-liquid. E-cigarettes hold their nicotine in pre-filled cartridges, which reduce in strength as the nicotine is used up, this means that the amount of nicotine per puff will reduce the longer you use the cartridge. It is also harder to know when the cartridge is finished and it’s time for a new one.
Vaporizers and e-cigarettes work in the same way. When you take a drag on the device, a heater turns the e-liquid into vapour which is emitted from the mouthpiece.
